To say it has been a pleasure dealing with your group is an understatement.

The level of professionalism was outstanding.

This was the first house we have built, and we wanted it to be perfect. It will probably be our last. Every facet of the planning and construction went like clockwork. Rod and Dion were extremely helpful and always suggested changes when there was a better option. Dion was very good at identifying situations that were not ideal or could be done in a better way. They were relatively minor, but the changes improved the final outcome.

As for the Tradesmen working on the house, they were top class. The quality of the work is exceptional.

It is difficult to select a standout, but I was extremely impressed with the Korean tiler. The tiling is wonderful. And working with Matthew, the electrician, was a pleasure. I had some very specific requirements and they were all completed without any fuss. Perfect.

People have asked me if I would build again after my initial experience. My answer is always yes as long as I am working with Cunningham Custom Homes.

Taf, your organisational skills and patience in dealing with every key player (including us) in the “push/pull” game you have to play in the day to day issues with everyone is admirable. To an outsider it may seem like chaos but you always made it look so easy. Well done. You rock!

Rod, you helped bridge the expectation gap with your wisdom. You said from the start there would be a big push where big things happened quickly and then it would seem that nothing was happening (even though it was behind the scenes). You kept reassuring us it would go to plan and it certainly did. You’re a legend!

Thanks to Scott & Matt the Carpenters for all your hard work and extra attention to detail. That has clearly manifested itself in the finished product and in a world we are accustomed to accepting second best, it was a pleasant surprise to find such excellent and first class service that you both displayed.

A HUGE thank you to all the subcontractors including: Matt the Electrician, Alex the Plumbers/drainer team, Rob and Pat the plasterers, Sean and company for the decorative arches and AllPlasta for supplying such quality products, the crew of tilers, Brady for the first class Kitchen and Bathroom cabinetry, the flooring legend Brad & team, Craig and the amazingly fast team of Painters and anyone else whom we may have forgotten. There are just too many to thank.

Tony and Matt, thanks for allowing Mark to work with you on this project. It means a lot to him and to us.

Last and not least, thanks heaps to all the apprentices that worked on our home. One day you too will become legends! We all had to start somewhere. You have got great teachers and mentors.

Firstly thank you for handing over the home you have built for us in the timely and professional manner that has been the hallmark of Cunningham Custom Homes during the build process.

The access you allowed us during the construction and the continuous opportunities afforded us to personalise our home without additional cost, was very generous. The fact that your design ideas had already aligned with ours made the whole journey and the final product very appealing.

As far as the building itself is concerned words just cannot do justice to the outcome.

We knew from the dedication of your craftsmen and the interaction and respect that you showed one another, that the quality was not going to be anything but top shelf. Top shelf it was from the expertly crafted roof line, through to the fantastic timber flooring and everything between. Cornices, shadow lines, the gyprock installation over very large areas, were all of extremely high standard. All inclusions were of similarly high quality and as we noted previously there simply was not one detail that we would have changed or indeed had to change, from that proposed by you initially.

We have had many comments from friends about the lavish resort-style quality of the finish evident from the minute they saw the external façade to when they entered the front door and beyond. You will note that I have mostly used home and not house in our appreciation and this was deliberate as that was the feeling that you imparted to us. You were at all times providing a home and not simply a house and this philosophy is consistent with the message imparted by your business name.

Finally it has been a distinct pleasure in dealing with Cunningham Custom Homes and I would wholeheartedly recommend you as a quality builder to anyone contemplating a build.

This recommendation extends to an inspection of our residence by any of your potential customers where we can backup our many claims.

Cunningham Custom Homes provided us with an opportunity and experience that no other home company could provide.

We received personal service from Tony from the time we bought our land right through to the completion of our home. Our home was valued much more after completion simply due to the extra care and service Tony provided that was not stated in our contract and we were nicely surprised that we did not receive any hidden costs that most people warned us against when deciding to build.

Cunningham Custom Homes has a great team of contractors and this is mainly due to their high level of care, on time approach and very close management and feedback by Tony himself.

Our home was built in 17 weeks and our direct 1:1 relationship with Tony meant that we were kept updated weekly if not daily regarding each stage and our requests, questions, recommendations and/or advice were directly replied to the same day.
